Features Crypto Safety

Don’t get drained.

For crypto holders, Mac Shield finds recovery phrases and private keys sitting in files and screenshots, checks your wallet extensions and apps are the real ones, catches clipboard hijackers that swap the address you’re sending to, and shows the token approvals drainers abuse.

Most wallets aren’t hacked. They’re drained.

Attackers rarely break your wallet’s encryption. They go around it:

  • a recovery phrase photographed and saved to Photos;
  • a fake wallet extension with the real one’s name;
  • malware that swaps the address you just copied;
  • an old approval to a site you forgot about.

Mac Shield helps close those doors.

Clipboard Guard. Pro

Copy a wallet address and Mac Shield watches the clipboard. If something swaps it for a different address, or a new address only looks like one you’ve used before (address poisoning), you’re warned instantly and can put your real address back in one click. It recognizes Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM chains, Solana, Tron, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

Recovery phrases and private keys.

Mac Shield searches Desktop, Documents, Downloads and iCloud Drive for recovery phrases, private keys and unprotected wallet files. It reads screenshots with Apple’s on-device text recognition. It checks every phrase against the official word list and its checksum, so random text doesn’t set it off. Nothing you hold is ever shown, stored or sent.

Wallet extensions and apps.

Your browser wallets are matched against each wallet’s official store listing, so look-alikes and extensions loaded outside the store stand out. Desktop wallet apps are checked for a valid signature from the real maker.

Token approvals.

Every app you’ve connected a wallet to may still be allowed to move your tokens. Add your public address and Mac Shield shows:

  • approvals to known scam contracts;
  • unlimited approvals to unverified code;
  • old unlimited approvals you’ve forgotten about.

It covers seven chains, each with a one-click link to revoke. Checking any wallet is free. Mac Shield never asks for anything that can move funds.

Pro With Pro, watched wallets are re-checked in the background, so a new risky approval doesn’t wait for you to remember.

And the habits software can’t enforce.
